Couples & Marriage Counselling in Calgary & Online Across Alberta
Couples counselling that stops refereeing the fight and works on the pattern underneath it, who reaches, who retreats, and what you're each actually asking for.

You're not out of love. You're out of sequence.

Most couples don’t come to counselling because of one big thing. They come because of the same fight, on repeat, different topic, same shape. Or because the fights stopped and something quieter moved in: two people managing a household politely, missing each other.

And usually, one of you found this page first. That’s normal. You don’t both have to be sold on therapy to start, you just both have to show up once.

What Working with Us Looks Like

We use emotionally focused approaches: instead of refereeing the argument, we help you both see the pattern underneath it, who pursues, who shuts down, and what each of you is actually asking for when it goes wrong. Then we practice doing it differently, in the room, where it’s easier.

No sides. No scorekeeping. No “who started it.” The relationship is the client.

If your partner won’t come yet, start on your own. Relationship patterns shift when one person changes their half, and partners often join once it stops feeling like an ambush.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

The Practical Piece

Free 15-minute consult, both of you, one of you, either works. Couples sessions with Nancy Jassi, MACP, CCC.

Most consults booked within 24 hours. Evening appointments available.

In person in Calgary at #204B, 2120 Kensington Rd NW, or online anywhere in Alberta.

$200 per 50-minute session, or $285 for 80 minutes. Direct billing may be available with most major insurers. Same therapist every session.

What we don’t do. We’re not mediators or lawyers, and we don’t write custody or separation reports. If you already know it’s over and need help ending it well, say so,  that is real work and we do it, but it’s a different conversation than repair, and you deserve a therapist who asks which one you’re there for.
