Therapy for Teen Girls in Calgary and the Parents Watching Them Struggle
You've probably been watching it for a while. The door that's always closed now. The marks that slipped, or the marks that are perfect while everything else quietly isn't. The stomach aches before school. The eye-rolls that used to be occasional and are now the whole conversation. You've asked if she's okay. She said "fine."
Here's what we want you to know first: coming to this page doesn't mean something is wrong with your daughter, or with your parenting. It means you noticed. Noticing is the whole job, and you did it.

And if you're the teenager reading this: this isn't a place where an adult tells you what's wrong with you. It's an hour that's actually yours no report card, nobody's agenda. What you say here stays here, with the few safety exceptions we'll explain plainly in the first session, before you decide anything.

Teens work with Chanelle or Kia, therapists who are warm without being fake, and direct without being harsh. The first session usually includes a parent; after that, sessions are your teen's own space, with check-ins you agree on together. We work on anxiety and overthinking, perfectionism and school pressure, friendship wreckage and social media spirals, family conflict, identity, and the particular exhaustion of being "the easy kid" who's stopped being okay.
We'll also be straight with you about fit: if what's going on needs a psychologist, a physician, or more intensive support than weekly therapy, we'll say so at the consult, not after six sessions.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
You don’t have to have it figured out before you book. That is what the fifteen minutes is for.
Practical
You can't make her want help. You can make it easy the day she does.
Book the parent consult, fifteen minutes, free, and you'll leave knowing more than you know today.

Sessions with Chanelle or Kia, MSW, RSW. In person in Calgary's Kensington neighbourhood and online across Alberta. Individual sessions 50 minutes, $190. Free 15-minute consultation. Direct billing available.

What we don't do: we don't do psychoeducational assessments, ADHD or autism diagnoses, custody evaluations, or court reports. If you need those, we'll point you to the right kind of professional. And we don't report back to parents word-for-word, a teen who knows her sessions are private is a teen who actually talks. You'll always know the things a parent must know; you won't get a transcript.
Free 15-minute consult, a real conversation, not a sales call. Ask us anything.
Most consults booked within 24 hours.
In person in Calgary at #204B, 2120 Kensington Rd NW, or online anywhere in Alberta.
